kaOs Summer Circus Day Camp (from 8 to 15 yo)

In the last couple of years the kaOs Summer Circus Day Camp has established itself on our “circus” ship (gymnasium of the Schulschiff, Donauinselplatz 1, 1210 Vienna). Young people come together for five days so they can set out to do circus, to eat, to play and to laugh together. The “circus” ship is suited perfectly for the training of various circus arts and the adjacent Donauinsel is great for all outdoor afternoon activities. Traditionally every year new equipment and kaOs designs are offered apart from the customary circus materials.

We cook ourselves and can therefore offer the opportunity to eat vegetarian and vegan as well.

The kaOs Summer Circus Day Camps are for children from 8 years onwards.

In principle all days of the Summer Circus Day Camp look like this:
10:00 to 10:30    Games & Warm-up within the assigned groups in the gym hall (Ruth)
10:30 to 11:30    Workshop period (this means that the children choose one circus area/equipment in consideration of the maximum numbers per station)
11:30 to 11:45    break within each assigned group
11:45 to 12:45    free movement phase
12:30 to 13:00   movement games within the assigned groups
Lunch scales: 12:30 – First scale (3 groups), 12:45 – Second scale (3 groups) and 13:00 – Third scale (3 groups)
14:00 to 17:00    afternoon programme
